Carabao Cup Final: Judgement for Sarri?

There are dark clouds hanging over Chelsea Football Club and the Carabao Group Cup presents a unique chance for Maurizio Sarri to brighten the sky for him and his players. Sarri's job looks like a ticking time bomb and star man Eden Hazard seems to be waving goodbye to Chelsea already. Defeat in the Cup would almost certainly seal the fate of the manager and that should create an atmosphere like no other at Wembley Stadium.

Manchester City Football Club come into this game in imperious form and having beaten Chelsea 6-0 at The Etihad week or so ago, the odds will certainly be in Pepe's troops' favour.

But this is a final and the magic of the Cup cannot be underestimated. This is perhaps the perfect opportunity for Chelsea to get a response from their players & bring the fans some much-needed silverware in these dark times at Stamford Bridge.

Motivation, Determination & Application have all been lacking in recent weeks and these are the exact ingredients that will be needed on Sunday. Make sure you tune in to see the first Major Trophy of the season be won. It should be a highly entertaining afternoon of sporting action heightened by the added tension of Maurizio Sarri's job resting on a knife-edge.
