Jam-Packed June at IMG ARENA

June sees Roland-Garros bring the curtain down on the clay court season in spectacular style. It has already been a fantastic tournament with world-class tennis and upsets in abundance. Can Nadal win his 12th French Open? How will Federer fair on his return to clay?  Will Konta maintain her good form and go deep in the competition? All questions to be answered in the coming days and we look forward to seeing who are crowned champions in ten days’ time.

It is also the culmination of the NHL season and the fight for the glory and the world’s oldest sporting trophy – the Stanley Cup. The final this year is between the Boston Bruins and the St Louis Blues. St Louis have done amazingly well to reach this stage as they were last in the NHL in January. Since the start of the year, they have been on an incredible run and last night recorded their first ever Stanley Cup Finals win, in overtime. That win made the final level at 1-1 and the next five games will determine this year’s winner. Can the Blues pull off the ultimate underdog story and take home the title and the cup.

Elsewhere this month, the grass court tennis season kick starts with Queens and also the Nature Valley Classic from Nottingham in the build-up to Wimbledon. If he is fit, Andy Murray has a wildcard slot reserved at the Fever-Tree Championships and it would be a great thrill to see him back on the court for the first time since the Australian Open.

In the Golf, The BMW International Open and Andalucía Masters are both superb events from the European Tour and the Travelers Championship from the PGA Tour is always a calendar highlight in the States.

With the end of the football season in Europe, the MLS is still serving up a feast of world-class action for football fans to feed on. Wayne Rooney continues to make waves in Washington and his side lead the Eastern Conference.

A jam-packed June for sports fans and sports bettors.
